A Bed Fit For a Princess /// Luxury Home Interior

Today I sit writing my first every blog post in my new house! eeeeeeekkk!!!

Last night me and Harry (the boyfriend for those that don't know) moved into our own house together. If you all take a look at my Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram you will all see how excited I have been for this moment, planning each room specifically before we even got our keys!

As home and Interiors is something new to my blog and of course something I am very passionate about, I am starting off by sharing not only my favourite pieces for my own home, but my wishlists too. Although we have quite a bit of furniture already, we have 4 bedrooms to fill therefore lots left to buy. Of course, this takes a lot of time and money- as they say Rome wasn't built in a day!

So... I'm going to start off by sharing my bed wishlist.

For me, the bed is the most important furniture. It's not only the place I spend most of my time in, but it sets the style of the room. From four posters to wooden chic there are so many styles to choose from therefore I'm going to share today which style is best to get that Luxury home look at a great price.

Bit of advice - firstly I wanted to give those that are in the same position as me (home buyers, lovers of interior, recent decorators, or just general home fanatics) some advice about home furniture. As soon as we think home furniture, Im guessing we all head to the general stores in hope to grab a summer sale, winter sale, spring sale or whatever sale is on at the moment (I swear they never stop at DFS). Welll.... from my own experience you can get THE same items, or ones very similar online for such a better price.

Take this bed for an example (one I have had my eye on for a while now)

This bed is a button back sleigh bed from Next at price of £650. This is actually a relatively good price for this bed as I have seen it double the price at other shops. However, you can find a very similar bed at pretty much half the price online. After a quick search, I found it here for just £359 (King Size)

I loved it that much I ordered one myself for the master bedroom! (Will be sharing pics of my house and furniture soon :) )

For those that don't like this style, as I understand it is a very acquired taste, here is my bed wishlist to also get that luxury home style too:

Similar one here at Mattress Next Day

similar here (Upholstered Ottoman Style for £359)

Exact one Here from Time4sleep

                                            Exact one here

My personal favourites are the button back beds in upholstery, and the white/cream metal beds with the chrome knobs. These are both on my shopping list for my spare bedrooms and cant wait to show you all the finished look.

This post is to help you find great furniture and home pieces at affordable prices. I myself am a great deal finder and have had a few compliments on my home choices and today in this post I have let you into a little one of my secrets.

Are you shopping for the home?

Are you a fan of the white luxury look too?
